Our spoof / joke letters are a great way to wind up, or get revenge on friends, neighbours, work colleagues - in fact just about anyone who can take a joke!

 This one is from "H.M. Regional Planning & Modernisation Department" complete with authentic looking crest at the top of the page.

It confirms that outline planning application has been granted in the recipients locality to build a "sanatorium to deal with communicable and tropical diseases."

It goes on to tell them about the plans and a meeting of a committee to which they are invited to air their points of view. Even the committee has a silly name but will they notice that?

The letter is signed by Lord K Nowes.
